“Just Dance” Sessions
Where you can do more of your favorite line and couples dances in afternoon sessions. These programs are based on requests at each session.

SWIFDI GEM & MINERAL SHOW
BLING!!! The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and the Southwest International Folk Dance Institute are teaming up for this inaugural event. What better place to shine? Or glitter? Or fluoresce? Glam it up with pearls and diamonds, be radiant with rubies, elegant with emeralds. Emulate your favorite mineral, from almandine to zircon. And don't forget the fossils! Maybe you're a hard rock miner at heart, a rock hound, or just a rocker. A rare opportunity to explore every facet of your personality and ladies, don't forget to show your best cleavage angle. We'll still think you are gneiss (or maybe a little wacke). Check it out!

ALL BUTTONED UP
What a notion! Campaign buttons, name buttons, fancy buttons, plain buttons, panic buttons, outrageous buttons, Red Buttons: buttons of every size, shape and saying will be the order of the day. Don't button your lip: if you can stick it on your bumper, you can wear it on your shirt. Haven't got a button? Make one at the costume bazaar! And if you don't have an opinion, you can just show up looking cute as a button!

A MAGICAL ENGLISH BALL
Imagine a misty evening at an English manor house. Ladies in ball gowns and gentlemen in period costume mingle with visiting scholars from places as varied as Oxford and Hogwarts. Elegance mixes with magic as wizards partner with characters straight out of Jane Austen. Join us in creating an enchanted evening designed to delight every Anglophile.
