About Erica Tabi
Erica Tabi has been devoted to Hungarian folk dance from an early age and started as a student in the Hungária Folk Dance Ensemble in New Jersey. She later received a scholarship to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she was a performer and dance soloist in The Tamburitzans, the longest-running international folk music and dance ensemble in the United States.
During nearly ten years in Hungary, she performed as a soloist dancer with the renowned Szentendre Dance Ensemble and later with the Angyalföldi Vadrózsa Folk Dance Ensembles in Budapest.
She is currently an active and respected dance instructor in the New Jersey Hungarian community, teaching the Csűrdöngölő and Szilvafa folk dance ensembles, as well as the dancers of the Hungarian Scouts: Regős Group.
