The artists creating the shirts combined design elements and symbolism from Albania and Hungary. The double-headed eagle at the top is the national emblem of Albania symbolizing sovereignty, strength and unity. Both cultures use the color red in their national costumes for men and women along with gold floral embroidery. The floral motifs are from traditional Hungarian costumes. The dancers are in typical Balkan performing costumes, the man's vest has an Albanian zig-zag design on the front.
Tee shirt ordering is now closed for 2026. However, there may be some spares available at camp for purchase.
Three ways to register by June 22nd:
1. One-step online registration with integrated payment via PayPal
2. Online registration with separate payment via Zelle or a paper check
3. Analog/paper registration form with payment via paper check. However, online registration is much preferred for any payment method.

PayPal uses your credit or debit card to make a secure payment transaction. It integrates directly with our online registration form so it is convenient, fast, and does not require any extra steps on your part, however, it will charge us a small transaction fee. If you choose to cancel your registration, we will deduct this fee from your refund.
Zelleis an online payment service integrated directly into many banks' and credit unions' online banking, making it highly safe and secure. Plus, we are not charged a fee for receiving payments through Zelle, so using this method has the convenience of online payment without a transactional fee. In the event you need to cancel your registration, we will refund according to our cancellation policy, described below.
Paying with paper check similarly avoids the transactional fee. Additionally, both a check and Zelle allow for paying the deposit only ($200 per adult + cost of any extras) for now, and the balance anytime between now and June 22,2026. Please note that your registration is not complete, and you will not be considered for housing, etc., until we have received your payment in full.

Our preference is for campers to register online, no matter the payment method. However, if you wish to mail in everything, please print the registration form and email or mail it back to us with a paper check.

How to pay using Zelle or a paper check:
> Paying with Zelle
1. Fill out and submit the online Zelle/check registration form. You should receive an automatic confirmation response email from us which will include the total amount you owe; you can also find that number at the top of the last page of the form.
2. If you don't already have a Zelle account, find out if your financial institution offers Zelle directly through online banking. You can find this information from your bank or credit union's website, or by searching at zellepay.com for your bank name. If your finaicial institution does partner with Zelle, set up Zelle through your online banking. (We are not online banking experts; if you need help with this step, please call your financial institution directly.)
3. Find and set up SWIFDI as a recipient. From within the Zelle section of your online banking, search for, or enter Recipient as "[email protected]". Our name will be an abbreviated version of Southwest International Folk Dance Institute. If you are unsure whether you have found the right account, PLEASE contact us, or send a $1 trial payment. Once you send a payment through Zelle it is extremely hard to reverse it if it went to the incorrect recipient.
4. Send your Zelle payment. You will receive an email from [email protected] when we have received your payment.
