Mike has been teaching and performing in Santa Fe for over 2 decades, sharing his passion for partner dance, and music as well as performing. As a member of the local dance company High Altitude Swing, Mike taught and performed all over New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona. He’s also worked with other local groups including the Santa Fe Social Club and Tango U.S.A., Moving People dance company, Dance Station, and Santa Fe’s own Dancing with the Stars.

Mike’s quest to learn from the best teachers and dancers in the world has taken him as far as Sweden. Among his coaches was Frankie Manning, the “Ambassador of Lindy Hop”.

He will be joined by his dance partner Elli Hindmarch, herself a regular teacher and performer of swing, blues and tango. Elli enjoys sharing her love of swing dance, music and performance. Exploring and teaching swing since the late ‘90s has led her many places including Los Angeles, New York and Sweden.
