Lucky for us, one of August Camp’s longtime participants is also a top-notch illustrator and designer!
Scott Lowry has been creating award-winning illustrations and designs for more than 30 years. He began his career in Hollywood, creating the "story boards" used by filmmakers to map stories graphically prior to filming. From there he moved to the field of advertising, where he worked—and still works—as an illustrator and designer.
Scott holds a degree in fine arts and another in design & technical illustration. He has operated his own business, Lowry & Associates Illustration & Graphic Design, for 34 years. Over that time Scott's clients have included Princess Cruises, Ogilvy & Mather, Stereophile Magazine, Herbs Etc. and many others.
Scott also designed last year's artwork. Inspired by a T-shirt created in 1984 for the very first August Campers, the retro-looking logo harks back to our beginnings at Montezuma.
If you join us at Montezuma, be sure to say hello!
